I AM A CALLEO STUDENT BUT I WOULD LIKE TO RESIGN FROM MY COURSE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
If your agreement covers an indefinite period of time, you should submit, at Calleo office, a written statement of resignation from the course, taking into account the monthly notice period quoted in the agreement as well as end-of-the-month expiry period.
If, however, your agreement covers a definite time period, it is not possible to resign from the course before its end date specified in the agreement.
I AM INTERESTED IN A GROUP COURSE AT CALLEO BUT I CAN'T DETERMINE MY LEVEL. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
If a student is uncertain what level of Polish he/she is, he may write a placement test, have a short interview with one of our lecturers or participate in a demo lesson, after which he/she may change the group to a more or less advanced one.
While being assigned to a certain group it is important that you inform us about your previous courses of Polish, books you used and time devoted to learning.
AM I ENTITLED TO GET MY MONEY BACK FOR CLASSES I DID NOT ATTEND?
Group courses are paid for in advance and there is no possibility to get the money back in the case of absences. Individual students are allowed to cancel one class per month (in advance). When missing several classes, it is possible, after consulting your lecturer, to make up for them at a time suitable for both parties.
WHAT PERSONAL DATA SHOULD I PREPARE BEFORE SIGNING AN AGREEMENT?
We need the following personal data for drafting your agreement: first name, surname, residence address, telephone number, e-mail address and ID document number (e.g. dowód osobisty, PESEL no, passport no, residence card no, etc.).
WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATING IN THE COURSE BASED ON THE AGREEMENT WITH CERTIFICATE?
The certificate is sometimes required by those of our students who apply for legal residence in Poland. In order to participate in courses based on the agreement with a certificate it is necessary to sign a fixed term agreement and participation terms and conditions, as well as make an advance payment for the course and bring a photocopy of the first two passport pages (including a photo).
